OBx telematics device with OneRoad dashboard
OBx is designed for fleets on every continent — with regional data SIMs supplied for your country.

Fleets on every continent. One platform.

Whether you’re running trucks across Europe, moving containers in North America or doing regional haulage in Asia, OBx connects your vehicles to the same OneRoad platform.

Americas — USA, Canada, Latin America Europe — EU & UK Asia — key freight corridors Middle East & Africa Australia & New Zealand

We supply and manage the data SIMs for your country or region, so you don’t have to deal with separate telco contracts. You focus on your freight — we handle the connectivity.

Global 4G & GSM coverage.

OBx uses the VL502 4G module, optimised for broad global coverage across key LTE and GSM bands — combined with regional data SIMs tailored to your country.

What OBx + OneRoad gives your fleet.

OBx turns your vehicles into live data feeds for OneRoad. You see vehicle movement, driver behaviour and maintenance status in one place — from any country.

🛰️ Live GPS tracking

See where each vehicle is right now and where it has been. Filter by country, depot, region or vehicle type.

⚙️ Engine & utilisation data

View ignition, movement and utilisation patterns to manage idle time, unauthorised use and fleet efficiency.

🛠️ Maintenance & defects

Digital pre-starts and defect records, plus service schedules by distance, time or engine hours. Export clean reports for your workshop or partners.

⚖️ Mass readiness

Use OBx alongside your mass sensors or weighbridge records to build a digital history of loads, combinations and routes.

😴 Driver activity & logs

Drivers log work, rest and breaks in the OneRoad app, linked to real vehicle movement from OBx for stronger audit evidence in your country.

🔔 Alerts & exports

Get alerts for offline devices, missed maintenance and unusual movement. Export CSV/PDF for internal reporting or your existing systems.

How your team uses OneRoad

Anyone in your organisation who needs access can download the OneRoad app and log in using their mobile number. You control roles and permissions from the dashboard.

  • Drivers: start/end shifts, log breaks and note issues
  • Supervisors: see live location and basic trip status
  • Maintenance: manage defects and service schedules
  • Management: see utilisation, routes and trends across countries

Fuel Tax Credit automation is available for Australian fleets. Outside Australia, you can still export rich OBx/OneRoad data to support your local tax, fuel and compliance reporting.

Order from any country, install in under a minute.

OBx is built to ship, plug in and run — without traditional hardware projects, installers or multi-year contracts.

1

Choose how many OBx units you need

Pick how many vehicles you want to equip. You can start with a pilot and scale up as you prove the value.

2

3

We ship OBx kits to your country

We dispatch your devices with tracked international shipping. Each kit includes the OBx unit, data SIM, quick-start guide and QR code for setup.

4

Open the box & scan the QR code

Your team opens the box, scans the QR code with any smartphone and:

  • Installs the OneRoad app and/or opens the activation page
  • Creates your OneRoad organisation account (or links to an existing one)
  • Follows the simple on-screen setup steps
5

Plug OBx into the OBD/diagnostic port

Find the diagnostic port, push OBx in firmly and secure it with the supplied cable-tie. The device draws power from the vehicle and connects via the included data SIM — nothing else to install.

6

Assign vehicles & invite your team

In the OneRoad dashboard you add vehicles, link each OBx device and invite drivers and staff via SMS or email. They log in with their mobile numbers and you’re live.

Frequently asked questions.

Can I use OBx in my country?

In most cases, yes. OBx supports LTE and GSM bands across the Americas, Europe, much of Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. We supply data SIMs tailored to your country or region. If you have very remote routes or unusual carrier requirements, contact us and we’ll check expected performance.

What trucks is OBx compatible with?

OBx is designed for heavy vehicles and light commercials with a compatible diagnostic port (OBD-style or equivalent). If your trucks already support telematics or diagnostic devices, OBx is usually a plug-in alternative.

Do I need a mechanic or installer?

No. OBx is designed as a DIY install: open the box, scan the QR code to set up the app and account, find the diagnostic port, plug in and secure the device with the supplied cable-tie.

How do drivers and staff access OneRoad?

Anyone in your company who needs access can download the OneRoad app and log in using their mobile number. You control permissions and assign vehicles in the web dashboard so drivers, supervisors, maintenance and management all see what they need.

How is OBx billed internationally?

All OBx subscriptions are billed in Australian dollars (AUD). The FX selector on this page gives you an approximate price in your local currency, but your bank or card provider will set the final exchange rate and any fees.

Do you support Fuel Tax Credits (FTC) outside Australia?

Fuel Tax Credit automation is currently available for Australian fleets only. However, OBx and OneRoad still deliver rich movement, utilisation and location data that can support your own tax and fuel reporting in any country.

Can OBx integrate with our existing systems?

Yes. We can provide APIs and data feeds so OBx and OneRoad data flows into your existing TMS, ERP or BI stack. Tell us what you’re using now and we’ll help map out an integration path.

Ready to use OneRoad + OBx in your country?

Tell us where you operate and how many vehicles you want to equip. We’ll confirm coverage, data SIM options and pricing, then ship OBx kits directly to your depot.

Already using OneRoad? Contact your account manager to add OBx devices and connect new countries to your existing account.
