Welcome to OneRoad. These Terms govern your use of our NHVR-aligned Electronic Work Diary (EWD) and fleet tools. By installing or using OneRoad you agree to these Terms.

We help you comply, but you are responsible for accurate entries. Alerts are guidance, not legal orders.
Payments
Paid modules via Stripe. Cancel anytime; refunds follow Australian Consumer Law.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, registering for, accessing, or using OneRoad, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
- Comply with all laws, including NHVR rules and Australian road safety standards.
- Understand OneRoad supports — but does not replace — your compliance responsibilities.
- Consent to data handling under the Privacy Act 1988 and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To use OneRoad, you must meet the following criteria:
- Legal: Be 18+ years of age.
- Drivers: Hold a valid heavy vehicle licence.
- Managers: Be authorised to act for your business entity.
- Technical: Use a compatible device with internet and location services enabled.
3. Licence to Use the Platform
We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use OneRoad on a compatible device for personal or authorised business purposes.
- No resale, redistribution, or sublicensing.
- No reverse engineering or circumvention of protections.
- No unlawful use or use inconsistent with HVNL.
4. Data Collection, Usage & Retention
We collect work/rest logs, location, maintenance, and mass data to support compliance and fleet operations.
Retention (HVNL s341)
As an NHVR-approved EWD provider, we retain compliance records for 3 years in line with Heavy Vehicle National Law Section 341. Personal information is retained only as necessary for service provision.
Storage
All data is stored securely in Australia with encryption and strict access controls.
5. Device Requirements
You are responsible for maintaining a functional device. This includes keeping GPS and system clocks accurate, ensuring internet connectivity for sync, and protecting your login credentials.
6. NHVR Compliance Support
OneRoad provides tools for fatigue, mass, and maintenance management. However, we do not guarantee compliance; you remain responsible for accurate data entry and timely responses to alerts.
7. Fatigue Alerts
Alerts warn of upcoming rest requirements and potential breaches based on data you provide. They are informational only and do not constitute legal advice. You must decide when to rest or stop safely.
8. User Data Accuracy
You are responsible for truthful, complete entries. Inaccurate data can cause non-compliance and audit failures. OneRoad is not liable for errors or deliberate misreporting by users.
9. Code of Conduct
You agree not to tamper with logs, share credentials, impersonate others, or introduce malicious code. Breaches may lead to immediate suspension and reporting to the regulator.
10. Third-Party Integrations
Integrations (e.g., telematics hardware, payment processors) are opt-in. Third parties are bound by our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
11. Payments & Refunds
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds follow Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
12. Liability & Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneRoad is not liable for damages arising from use, data errors, regulatory breaches, or outages. You agree to indemnify OneRoad for claims arising from your misuse or non-compliance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes should attempt informal resolution first, followed by mediation or courts as applicable.
